F-35
The F-35, officially known as the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, is a family of stealth multirole fighters designed for various military applications, including air-to-air combat, air-to-ground strikes, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. The F-35 comes in three main variants: the F-35A, a conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) version; the F-35B, which can take off and land vertically (STOVL); and the F-35C, designed for carrier operations with larger wings and modified landing gear for use on aircraft carriers. The aircraft incorporates advanced stealth technology, sophisticated sensors, and networking capabilities to enhance situational awareness and operational effectiveness. The F-35 program represents a significant investment by the United States and several allied nations, contributing to joint cooperative defense initiatives and modernizing air forces worldwide.
